Prem1er is under the direction of Steven J. Grant, Sr., Visionary. The fundamental purpose of the Prem1er Community Drumline is to instill the youth with an appreciation for music and its connection with building confidence and self-esteem. Youth that are involved are apt to be more engaged in their studies and their communities. It helps them to be better connected to their surrounding and rise to their potential within. The youth are better equipped to make positive life choices. This extra-curricular activity can provide the youth with a craft that will help participants compete for college scholarships. We strive to focus on the development of self-respect, respect for others, discipline and pride in our community.
